Think Well

The way you think about food actually matters! Labeling the food you eat as “good” or “bad” encourages you to think of yourself as either “good” or “bad” for eating those foods.

You are neither “good” nor “bad” when you are eating food–your value as a person does not change, no matter what you are eating.  You are simply eating foods that are moving you toward your goals or away from them.  Thinking that giving foods value will either increase or decrease your desire to eat them is, unfortunately, wrong.

I also want you to think well of your choice to lose weight. If you decided to ask your doctor about a GLP-1 medication–good for you! It’s not cheating and it’s not the “easy way out.” But you will need coaching for many of the thoughts that come up. If you don’t already have my GLP-1 Starter kit, there is a great mindset section in it!! You can grab it HERE

Thinking well also means thinking well of your body.  We think that we will be motivated by our negative self-loathing thoughts about our bodies, we want to “hate ourselves thin.”  But it doesn’t work  like that.  I promise.  Because so far, that’s what you’ve tried, right? Hating yourself enough to create the “motivation” to change.  But I promise, you “loving yourself thin” will be a better, more lasting experience.  Love is available to you today.  It’s created by the thoughts in your brain.  I’ll teach you how to change the thoughts about your body and love yourself today–not when the number on the scale is different.

I believe getting your brain on board is the way to lifelong weight loss and ideal weight maintenance. I’ll teach you the key tools to using your brain to love yourself, push yourself, and reach your goals!
