Eat Well

All foods are included in my client’s lives!  I’m not going to tell you that you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want and still maintain a healthy weight–like the cover of some tabloid magazine!  I will, however, teach you how and why to incorporate all kinds of foods that you like and that work for you!  Remember that food is not the enemy–overeating is the enemy! When we take in over and above the amount of energy our bodies need, they store that energy.  Eating well means eating in the right amount for your body’s needs.

Avoiding a particular macronutrient, or entire food group is not necessary for my clients (excluding allergies of course).  You decide if a food does not work for you.  This is called Bio-Individuality.  You practice this when you avoid eating dairy because it gives you a stomach ache, but your sister has no issue with it.  The perfect diet for you could make someone else gain weight or feel lethargic.  In addition, your needs will likely change over time. Paying attention to your needs as your body and life evolve is also Bio-Individuality.

I teach you how to eat for the rest of your life, not for a short term “diet.” This is easy to learn, maintainable and sustainable. You won’t need to “take a break” from this plan–this is the way you can eat for the rest of your life! I teach you correct portions of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Hint: it’s not the amount of pasta/steak/butter they serve you at restaurants!! I teach you not to count calories, but to eat properly balanced meals that keep you full, satiated and not ravenous before your next meal.

Eating well is not boring or unsatisfying! Eating well is colorful, delicious and most of all perfect for YOUR body!
